Handmade Bone China cup decorated with Aboriginal Australian art. The artists own the art and are paid a regular royalty for its use under the Indigenous Art Code. Each plate includes a description of the art and its meaning to the artist and provides a brief biography of the artist. Fair Trade produced from fine Bone China by a small artisan enterprises in China (the traditional home of Bone China). Microwave and dishwasher safe. Dimensions: length 18 cm, width 11.5 cm.
Artist: Damien and Yipli Marks
Description: This design is from an original painting of Damiens country, Mt. Liebig, west of Papunya. Damien's great grandfather and his family are travelling through the desert towards Kintore, collecting food. In the bottom right hand corner the sun is setting over a hillside. The family stops to camp at different places along the way. The red concentric circles are dry rockholes, and the blue and white concentric circles represent rockholes that are filled with clean water, that flows on into the creek. The red stripes coming out of the centre of the right hand side of the painting lead to one of these waterholes these are the tracks of the family walking through the sand. In this painting you can also see spinifex bushes (the yellow star-like symbols), and dry claypans with cracks in the earth.

Domestic Shipping
Free regular shipping (2-8 days) for all orders valued over $75. Flat rate $7.50 regular shipping Australia wide on all orders of $75 and under.
Express shipping (1-5 days) is available at a cost of $12.50 per order, regardless of order value.
International Shipping
New Zealand - Flat Rate $19.95 on orders 1.5kg and under (3-14 days).
Rest of the World (see country list below) - Flat Rate $39.95 on orders 1.5kg and under (7-21 days).
Orders over 1.5kg will attract an additional flat rate per order of $5.00 for New Zealand and $20 for the Rest of the World. We will email you an invoice for the additional cost and you can pay securely directly through our store.
We are unable to collect taxes or customs duties which may be owing in your home country. If duties are owing, or there is another issue with your order, you will be contacted directly by our courier, your local postal service or government customs offices for payment.
International orders are currently available only for the following countries:
