These stunning handmade, woodblock print, traditional Tibetan prayer flags are ethically handmade following the 10 Fair Trade principles in Kathmandu to ensure our artisans receive a fair wage and safe working conditions. This style of prayer flag - known as a Lung ta - would traditionally be strung across roof tops or between buildings and natural objects like rocks or trees or a wooden pole. They are used to bring blessings and the five colours follow traditional Chinese colour theory. Our prayer flags include five Tibetan prayers for peace, prosperity, long life, success and knowledge.
